Bringing insight into what drives behaviour
The MVPI identifies individuals’ underlying motives, values and preferences that drive individuals’ goals, expectations and behaviours. This helps explain the “why” behind behaviours, providing opportunities to align individuals with the roles and environments where they are most likely to thrive. It can be extremely valuable to spend time identifying, reflecting upon and understanding what drives your behaviour.
Support and coaching individuals with the MVPI as a basis can bring fantastic insight and behavioural shifts. Another really valuable assessment from the Hogan range.
.
The 10 MVPI scales give insight into:
What you value and appreciate
What drives your behaviour
Type of workplace that motivates you
The type of environment you will cultivate
How to best reward your performance
Your motives, values and preferences can impact your career in 4 ways:
1. Drivers
2. Fit
3. Leadership style / culture
4. Unconscious biases

MVPI allows us to evaluate the degree of fit between an individual’s values and the rewards or environment provided by an organisation.
If using the Hogan Assessment for selection, understanding what a candidate may value in a work environment allows you to ask appropriate interview questions to discern how compatible they will likely be with organisational culture, or if seeking positive cultural change, how they might lead and support this.
